Digital Conversion Subsystem
The Digital Conversion Subsystem (DCS) performs wideband analog-to-digital conversion (ADC) and digital-to-analog conversion (DAC) for Digital IF satellite communication (SATCOM) terminals. The DCS is compliant with the Future Advanced SATCOM Technologies (FAST) Open Standard Digital IF Interface (OSDI) [TIA/ANSI 5041]. The DCS transports digitized and encapsulated wideband signals over Ethernet to/from the Wideband Signal Processor (WSP).
