Digital IF Products


Digital conversion subsystem (DCS)

DCS provides digital conversion of standard analog L-band interfaces in the uplink and downlink paths (125 MHz of aggregate bandwidth in each direction). The interface to the WSP is via Ethernet fiber optic links.


Wideband Signal Processor (WSP)

This real-time processor for Digital IF applications processes quadrature baseband signal samples for compatibility with Digital Modems and/or Legacy Modem Data Converters.


Legacy Modem Data CONVerter (LMDC)

LMDC is the technology transition product that provides the interface between legacy analog L-band modems and modern Digital IF terminals.



The DIFI Firmware IP Core enables Digital Modem developers to mitigate risk in development of Digital Intermediate Frequency Interoperability (DIFI)-compliant equipment. AMD/Xilinx cores and engineering integration support are available.


DIFI Digital IF Vector Analyzer (DIVA-D)

DIVA-D eases verification of compliance with the Digital Intermediate Frequency Interoperability (DIFI) Digital IF standard and provides continuous real-time monitoring of Digital IF traffic, including classification of packets.
